Almost 90 Faroese private companies and public institutions will be participating, and they are looking forward to meeting you. In addition to networking opportunities, the day will feature exciting presentations throughout the event, offering insights into industries, career paths, and opportunities in the Faroe Islands. If you have a higher education, vocational skills, or professional experience and are interested in engaging with the Faroese job market, Jobmatch may be the right event for you. At Jobmatch, you can expand your professional network by connecting with nearly 90 companies and institutions. It is a unique opportunity to learn more about job opportunities in the Faroe Islands and to introduce yourself to potential employers.

To facilitate meaningful connections, the organizers have developed a feature on the Jobmatch website that allows you to book a JobPrát (Job Talk) with participating organizations. A JobPrát is a short, informal conversation where you can briefly present your education and work experience and learn more about the organization.

To participate in Jobmatch, you must register by clicking the green “Melda til” (Register) button in the upper-right corner of the website. After registering, you can book JobPrát meetings with the organizations you wish to connect with. JobPrát meetings will take place at the participants’ booths at Við Tjarnir on 30 December 2025.

If you are already registered in the Jobmatch portal, simply click the blue “Rita inn” (Log in) button.

The deadline for booking a JobPrát is 29 December at 12:00 noon.

When registering at jobmatch.fo, we recommend completing your profile as accurately as possible. Participating companies and institutions will have access to the following information about you:

• Age
• Areas of professional interest
• Educational status
• Field of education
• Level of education

Some of this information will be displayed anonymously, allowing participants to assess whether your profile matches their needs. If there is a match, a participant may book a JobPrát with you. You will receive a notification on your Jobmatch profile and by email, and you can then accept or decline the invitation.

Once you book or accept a JobPrát, the participant will gain access to your full profile. Prior to that, only the information listed above will be visible. You may update your Jobmatch profile at any time.
