Most immigrants are from the Philippines

People from the Philippines make up the highest number of Non-Danish residents in the Faroes, followed by Romanians

At the start of this year, 316 Filipinos – 237 women and 79 men – resided in the Faroe Islands.

People from the Philippines thus top the list of people of non-Danish origin in the Faroes.

Second on this list are Romanians, with 262 people – 194 men and 68 women.

At the start of this year, about 14 percent of Faroese residents were born outside of the Faroes.
